Andres Iniesta can't and won't accept defeat just like that and insisted that Barça will definitely make the Champions League semi-finals despite being beaten 3:0 by Juventus in Turin last night.
The Barcelona midfielder reckons that the return leg with Juventus will be less of a challenge than what they faced in the hands of PSG and later turned everything around at the last minute.
With PSG, Barcelona managed to radically change a four goal deficit to win 6:5 on aggregate.
Iniesta insisted: “We will turn the tie around if we do things as we need to do in Barcelona.
“Juve are a good team, but when you don’t do things well you get punished. However, we don’t feel as bad as we did in Paris, but we have another big mountain to climb.”
Juventus goal saviour, Paulo Dybala has notified his teammates of the potential risk and not to take anything likely despite their first-leg win.
Dybala hit the net with two goals in the first half to give the Italians a sweet lead heading towards next week’s quarter-final second leg at the Nou Camp.
But the Argentine international is bearing in mind of what Barcelona can do in the return leg and can't rest his mind because of the Spanish giants' ability to come back from the three goals deficit after seeing what they pulled on Paris St Germain in the last eight.
Dybala told reporters: “We played a great game and we made the best of the chances we had and it is certainly a great result ahead of the return leg in Barcelona.
“We are in a very good position and we’re playing with great confidence, but we cannot relax beacuse it will be very difficult at the Camp Nou.”
Juventus boss, Massimiliano Allegri seems to be in agreement with Dybala’s opinion but just couldn't hide his happiness with his side's performance which was eventually covered with an uncommon second-half goal from Giorgio Chiellini.
Allegri said: “I must congratulate my players, but there is another match to play. I think this is an important step forward in our objective to reach the final.”
