Mario Balotelli’s agent says the striker “will play for Dortmund” after leaving Ligue 1 side Nice.
The striker had a renaissance at Nice last season scoring 17 goals in 28 appearances after signing a 12-month deal and now there is believed to be a serious interest from Borussia Dortmund.
The new Dortmund coach, Peter Bosz was met by Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola this week and when asked whether he was in Germany discussing about the 26-year-old Italian, Raiola replied: “Yes.”
“Balotelli will play for Dortmund,” Raiola told Goal.
Raiola recently claimed the German club and Marseille are interested in his client and he now claims a deal is as good as done.
Last month, Cope Canarias reported that Gran Canaria-based club Las Palmas had made the free agent a 12-month contract offer, with the option for a further 12 months.
That does not appear to have appealed to Raiola and Balotelli, who apparently had a clause in his Liverpool deal which included a £1milliin bonus for not getting sent off three times in a season.
